Château de Fonscolombe

The property was absolutely incredible and immaculately kept, and the design and decor of the lobby, rooms, etc felt like something out of a movie. The breakfast was delicious and so relaxing out on the concourse, the nature trail and adjacent vineyard were majestic, and the pool and grounds gardens were perfectly maintained. We had such a fantastic stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and isolated getaway!

Beautiful castle, the grounds, the swimming pool

It’s a beautiful castle, refurbished with taste, that kept its charm and authenticity, offering a very peaceful and quiet experience. Very good staff, restaurants, pool. We really enjoyed it.

We loved our time there. Everything about it is grand but also comfortable. There’s a series of lovely salon rooms that we especially appreciated for having a night cap, reading, chatting, etc. We noticed that some negative comments focused on the pool bring above ground; that’s literally true, but the it’s a very upscale pool and the surrounding lounge chairs are level with it. Staff was great. Breakfast was lovely. And the chef prepared is top tier. Enjoy! Oh, and great location, central to Aix, the Luberon hill towns, and the coast. We loved Cassis btw.

Very nice hotel located about 20mn from Aix. Located on leafy grounds with a nice pool and plenty of areas to sit down and relax both outside and inside. Confortable & quiet room, everything is brand new and well decorated, very subtle & soft colors. Big bathroom with a bath tube and a separate shower. Breakfast was served on the terrace and was nice (not exceptional though) with quite a lot of options. Lunch at the main restaurant served under the big tree was delicious. Nice staff and warm welcome from the manager Would definitely stay again
